January 14, 2012 - Last bottle and sad because I don't think I can get more. Just stellar last night, consistent with past notes, only with even more depth and balance.
January 5, 2012 - I am a huge fan of this. Ann not so much. Grassy, minerally, textured. Edgy tannins. Yet still fruity. Good stuff.
December 25, 2011 - Delicious. Recognizably gamay, with that soft fruit body, but with good focus and acidity as well.
December 16, 2011 - Consistent with past notes. This wine is a gem when you're in the mood for something zesty and drinkable. Tannins were not quite so pronounced this time, which made it even better.
December 1, 2011 - Stony, danky, tarry nose. Bright red gamay fruit. Touch of acidity. Tastes like earth. Slightly funky and unclean in a good way. Tastes like real wine. Not too long on the finish, but for $13 it's badass right now. Good stuff.
November 24, 2011 - Maybe even better than I remember. Incredibly drinkable. Remembered how tannic it was last time and decanted, which was a good move. Fresh, fruity, and delicious.
November 23, 2011 - Even better thank I remembered. In view of how tannic this was last time, decanted, which was a good move. Incredibly drinkable. Fresh, fruity, and delicious.
October 9, 2011 - Love it when a good wine is even better than I remembered. Almost velvety at first, then as the evening wore on the tannins got more assertive. Ripe sweet strawberry gamay fruit, minerals, incredibly drinkable.
September 9, 2011 - My last bottle of this vintage. Enjoyed often both this summer and last. Black cherry laced with herbs -- sage, lavender, and tangy/lemony tarragon -- on a cool, stony dark berry core. Light, silky, a tad chalky. Nice. Sorry to say goodbye.
August 27, 2011 - black cherry, lavender, blood orange & flowers. light body, but not thin. good acidity. solid summer sipper when slightly chilled.
