April 28, 2022 - This new world aged wine can beat a classic Bordeaux 2nd or 3rd growth equivalent age. Great wine for "Ringer" and is a surprise.
Rustic blackfruits, herbaceous, earthy, cassis, tobacco is all there.

August 25, 2021 - Amazing up there with GCC clarets - will keep ageing for ages more
Smooth fruit with complex tertiaries -
    Umami mushroom leather sandalwood

January 9, 2021 - From glass. Obviously youthful, beautiful deep purple coloring (looking especially youthful next to a 90 Pomerol). At first high-toned paint and polish, and lovely sharp raspberry, but sweetening considerably to kind of cocoa-butter, toffee and berry nose. Attacks with cool dark fruit, moves into mid more of baked berry fruit and finishes slightly caramely, but throughout bitter background of dark chocolate and tea. Still some drying, stringy tannin, but drinking pleasantly now if you must. Cool, full, solid, but lifted - not a dragging load. Could hit a nice stride in 5-10 years.

July 4, 2020 - Really chocolaty. Very unusual.

June 19, 2020 - A worthy "Ringer" for old Bordeaux tasting and this was a 2000 Bordeaux 2000 tasting. Merlot based but had the aromas of berries, tobacco, cedar, spice, hint of earthiness which are all elements required in the Bordeaux wine. It was mid-ranked amongst the Bordeaux tasting and formidable!
