  October 19, 2014 - Dark, opaque color. Nose of interesting, unusual spices. Palette follows, with pepper, clove, blackberry jam and other dark fruits. Enough acid to avoid being a fruit bomb, but on the sweeter side.

  August 17, 2014 - Going by memory on this as took on a camping trip and drank cold from a cooler in my finest insulated Sigg coffee mug... Tough to swirl in one of those! But dang tasty by the campfire listening to creepy tales read by my teens.

  January 16, 2014 - Some peach+plum aromas. On the palate this is a nice combo of plums, tar and some smoke. Sort of a hybrid of australian and northern rhone S+V blend (clearly a new world wine). Very good finish. Improves somewhat on day two. Tasty wine although there is a hint of alcohol heat on the finish which interferes with the finish. 89-90
