June 10, 2018 - Still drinking really well. Great depth, fruit still very rich, tannins have softened, but still plenty of structure and long finish.

November 10, 2013 - This wine has improved drastically since I opened another bottle from the same vintage. Although the nose remains tight and yields some black fruit, it has lost its oak monster nose. Likewise on the palate, the oak has mellowed and now the fruit (dark berry) dazzles. Mild tannins have likewise mellowed. I am anxious to try another bottle in 9-12 months.

October 30, 2013 - Bad bottle. Port-like raisins reminiscent of a bottle way past its prime.

May 24, 2013 - From a 375ml bottle, very nice aromas of lush cherries, red berries, oak and a bit of meat juices. On the palette, more of the same red ripe fruits, tangy and lush. With a nice long finish. Unmistakingly Napa Cab Sav. Not overripe but also primary. This bottle is still fairly young as its quite tannic. I'd hold for another 2 years. I've had the 2005 and 2009. All fairly similar with the 2005 my favorite. I opened this bottle 4 days ago (vacuvin) and have my last glass today. Its smoothed out over the past few days and still a little tannic. Overall a nice Napa Cab. I like it!!

May 7, 2013 - Shows a gorgeous deep purple color and classic napa cabernet aromatics. Medium plus concentration, body, and displays good refinement to the tannins. Definitely a bit softer than when tasted last year. This time out of a 375. Not often do you get this kind of luxury out of a standard napa designation, and 14.5% alcohol is very reasonable for this era. Looking forward to trying the '09 and '10.

March 23, 2013 - Decanted for 1 hour. Oak and sandalwood on the nose and palate. Still on the green side. Very good and enjoyable with food. Will wait a little more for the next one.
