August 11, 2012 - Santa Ynez Valley Tasting Trip - Day 2 (Babcock, Foxen, Koehler, Brander) (Santa Ynez Valley, CA): $9. Vanilla yogurt on the nose. On the palate, very dry with no sweetness at all finishing with some dried herbs and spices. Not bad for the price.

May 11, 2012 - A lot of fruit but with character of the area. Nothing special but pleasant enough with pizza. Hard to guess what is in the mix, could be any or all of a GSM mix.

September 10, 2011 - Spicy nose, a lot of fruit and acidity, not much tannin. Perfect for basic Italian fare.

July 29, 2011 - Bananas and tobacco on the nose. Black tar red colour - slightly cloudy even. Nice, inexpensive wine thats good with lighter foods like chicken but will be overpowered by anything spicy or dense like steak. Finish the bottle after opening as it really doesnt keep, it will lose its texture and acidity even stored properly after opening.
