November 28, 2015 - Soft gentle spice, black fruit and tannin. Probably will soon start a gentle decline, but pretty much at its peak tonight.

March 23, 2013 - As before but just that bit better

November 19, 2011 - Very decent rhone. Quite young but tannins firm not harsh. Red fruit and pepper. Great match to confit duck.

April 24, 2011 - This is the second bottle I've opened recently. There is an unpleasant alcohol spike which really dominates from the mid-palate onwards and reinforces my original opinion that this is way too young to drink now.

April 15, 2011 - Mostly morello cherries and charcoal on this solid nose. A little cracked black pepper, green pepper/vegetal attribute on the palate but somewhat swamped by the high alcohol and acidity. Full bodied, robust and volatile. Potential is there - really nice tannins - but needs to settle. A well made wine from a great vintage; just not yet in its prime.
