August 1, 2023 - A nice bottle of bubbles to celebrate an indictment day. Bright, cheerful, lifted notes. Fairly priced = good value. Have been drinking bottles with more age but this has enough depth to not shock the system. Wish we had more than 1 left...

August 7, 2022 - Exceptionally rich and remarkably vibrant - this knocked it out of the park today. Deep citrus marmalade and fresh golden waffle with a tinge of sweet red berries, too. The mouthfeel is creamy with a chalky finish. Delectable.

August 5, 2022 - Should have made it to day 2, but it was too tasty. See previous notes.

January 22, 2022 - Didn't heed my previous note. Same lot info, notes pretty identical to last time...still very young and much better on Day 2 open.

December 22, 2021 - Green apple throughout with a bit of matchstick. Good enough weight, slightly tart finish, but generally nicely balanced. I probably like this more than most people, but get tired of so many smaller growers who want their Champagne to "say something." This wine is just tasty, and doesn't feel the need to start any conversation. 2016 base (60%) with 40% reserve, 5g/L dosage, March 2019 disgorgement.

July 2, 2021 - Not very good. Feels way more dosed than the 5 g/l the back label suggests. Somewhat rustic and just very basic.

March 12, 2021 - Based on 2017 (60%) and I assume the rest is reserve wines; disg 03/20, 5 g/L dosage. Mousse is very dense at first. On the nose: green apple, brioche, lime, soft vanilla, verbena. The effervescence dissipates quickly, but obscures the nose a bit, as opposed to lifting it. On the palate: excellent acidity, if a bit prickly, wet stone, lemon oil, very mineral, and not showing so much fruit on the palate. White pepper and wet stone on the spicy finish. Seems very tightly wound right now...wait a long while on next bottle.
