March 1, 2023 - (TariDulang) Dark amber, cloudy, in glass. Viscous! Incredible concentration and texture, nutty, sweet, tight acidity, still vibrantly balanced. Bubbles have faded, but still a nice zestiness to it. Developed and very special - thanks Matt!

July 4, 2014 - Retained sparkling quality even after 6 years in bottle - my 2004's had lost it. Unctuous, immediately full of candided apricots, caramel, baked apple. Faint acidity but enough to keep it alive. Striking orange-bronze color.

April 14, 2013 - Honeyed and rich on the nose with intense dried fruit aromas: apples and apricots, mushrooms and copper.
Sweet and fullbodied with large though not very intense moussé. Energetic fruit and well balancing acidity. Slight citrusy bitterness, mushrooms and nutty hints. Long aftertaste.
Fun and luxurious stuff. Maybe a bit too pricey.

July 16, 2011 - Citrus honey on the nose and palette. Mrs Toby prefers it to Tokiaj

March 19, 2011 - A bit disappointing. The combination of sweetness and sparkling didn't work for me in this particular case.

(Inniskillin Vidal Sparkling Icewine (375 ml)) A tiny bead and golden brilliance present wonderfully in the glass. On the palate, a moderately acidic effervescence is followed by lilting sweetness (amazingly subtle for 240 grams of residual sugar) and the nuanced layers of flavor I found across the range of Inniskillin icewines. The finish is pleasant, lingering, and slightly warming. Terroir: Niagara Peninsula
