October 8, 2014 - Rich, full bodied, loads of sweet fruit, grenache galore, but the coolness and the structure of the vintage serves this wine well. Seems very young still, though tannins has dissolved sufficiently. And there is none of that core of kirsch, that marks many of the 2001's at the present time. A joy to drink.
February 7, 2013 - smooth supple and complex. blackberry, notes of white pepper complex umami notes.

March 8, 2011 - Beef blood and rich dark black fruit dominate this beautifully balanced rich wine. Mouth coating with essence of kalamata olive tapanade and meaty flavors. Tasty rich profile with good delineation and structure and a finish that is rich and long - a beauty that 's entering it's prime drinking window but probably has the stuffing for a least another decade.

December 19, 2009 - Dark red, slim yellow edge, 6. Heavy/alcoholic almost port like nose, overmature fruit. Massive taste, strong from alcohol, sweetnes, tannins and style almost like a fortified wine. Drink now- 2014. Amarone wanabee without the structure to support the alcohol. Not my wine!
