March 13, 2021 - NOSE: Clearly mature but still vital and interesting. Initially cherry stone, Anthon Berg “Plum in Madeira”, moderately herbal, mildly medicinal, leather, pipe tobacco and pipe smoke. With time it takes on fresher notes of raspberry fruit (90-91p)
TASTE: Rather mature fruitiness although there’s also a fresh, almost minty touch. Earthy elements with a touch of dark chocolate. Medium rich mouthfeel. Medium long aftertaste. (88-89p)
OVERALL: A mature but vital 20 year old CdP and a lovely nosing wine. TOTAL SCORE 89 points. -

October 24, 2019 - Krass, rustikk hodepinerødvin med mørk frukt, jord, bark, kaffe på duft. Baktung og med hostil snerp. Kraftig og ikke uinteressant vin med intakt frukt, men trenger feit, egnet mat for å komme til sin rett.
