  April 10, 2017 - This was the last bottle, and showed considerable improvement over previous tastings. It was full-bodied and smooth with a pleasant cherry flavor and a bit of smoke at the end. Still some tannins at the finish

  January 23, 2016 - 4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Rick's & Cris'): Notes of herbs, black fruit and cassis. The cassis and dark fruit qualities follow through on the palate. This is quite firm and structured and in need of some time to soften. Guessed Napa Cab.
  
  I was surprised when this was unveiled, as I've never known Truchard's Cabernets to show this much structure and dark fruit. I've thought of then as a bit more open and red-fruited. That said, given time, I think this will show nicely. Drink from 2020+.

  November 20, 2013 - This is a great vineyard to visit and their wines continue to improve. This has lots of dark fruit, smooth finish, and just enjoyable.
