March 2, 2020 - 80% Va Piano Vineyard, Block 6/20% Les Collines Vineyard, Block 30; 115 cases produced, unfined and unfiltered; moldy cork, but no effect. Clear (sediment), deep purple(!) – blackberry, tar, bacon, sambuca, blueberry Danish go round. Medium+ acid, medium+ tannins, 14.6% ABV, full body, medium- finish. Complex. Drinking well now.

June 26, 2016 - Inky dark purple, bold nose of violets, tobacco. Dry tannins with good acid, bold body and fruit without being jammy. Kept in check by the acid and tannins.

March 14, 2015 - Savory, dark nose with anise, violet, wood spice, and black pepper. Full and texturally elegant, the body shows mild blue and red fruit. Finishes with very fine tannins and nice length, though a little light on acid.

September 14, 2012 - Nice big distinctive spicy taste - didnt finish as well as I remember but the decant was short.

May 11, 2012 - Popped and Poured. Deep floral nose, slightly sweet taste, very smooth mid-pallete with cherry overtones, soft sweet tannins and long finish. This wine is very good and drinking suberbly right now.

(Kerloo Cellars Syrah Walla Walla Valley) Jumps from the glass with floral notes, plum, smoke, spice, and dark fruit. A seamless palate with full of fruit and chocolate along with a solid backbone of tannins beautifully balanced by acidity. A persistent finish. 100% Syrah. Va Piano Block 6 (80%) and Les Collines Block 30 (20%). 20% whole-cluster fermented. Aged in French oak (20% new). 14.6% alcohol. 115 cases produced.
