August 11, 2022 - At Skinner pre-auction tasting, Newton, Mass.: This is much more advanced than the 1982 I had, coincidentally, last month. The 1983 is still impressive for a wine of its pedigree and age, but it seems like a decrepit old man next to the robust 82.

February 26, 2022 - It was nice but nothing spectacular .. no oomph.. we had it with Lamb shank.. the wine was light enough that it could have gone with anything
