September 17, 2019 - Lynch Bages Blanc has yet to impress me. The whites from them are straightforward easy drinking but not worth the secondary market price. This 2009 offers a fresh and ripe profile of stone fruits, pearfruits, mellon and mild tropical tone. Direct and glossy without much complexity or excitement. Some heat on the palate. (84-85/100)

March 18, 2018 - Nice enough - started out super oaky but this mellowed pretty nicely. Yellow fruits, fleshy, a bit of white flower. Nice flesh on the palate.

March 18, 2018 - Always great to see a white Bordeaux that sings! Enjoyed the complex flavors, balance and acidity of this wine. Would be interested to see what a few more years would do to the acidity and ripeness of the fruit. Paired with a walnut, goat cheese, red onion and dried cranberry salad. Fantastic pairing.

June 4, 2016 - What an almost amber colored beauty of a wine. This is complex with all the typical flavors of the blend, a benchmark effort aging gracefully! It's my last bottle of this phenomenal vintage. Bravo Jean-Charles!! Poetry in a bottle, great for drinking alone, or with fish / salad, or with a nice lemony desert!
