September 6, 2014 - 89 out of the bottle. 91 pts 30 minutes later. DECANT!!!
March 6, 2014 - Very nice wine!
November 19, 2013 - Notes in line with previous bottle from Feb.
April 19, 2013 - Consistent notes.
March 28, 2013 - Lots of bright cherries and lip smackingly good acidity. Not a complex wine but delicious for what it is. Paired well with a broad spectrum of country club fare tonight. Great value.
March 26, 2013 - The Tanzer review is spot-on. This would be a good choice with burgers/at a party. Rich and easy. The nose and finish outperform the simple grenache intro/midpalate. On this 1st night, best on the PnP as it is already cinching up a bit on the 2nd glass.
February 9, 2013 - Deep, dark purple although fairly light bodied. Marked with gritty tannins at first that relent with about 45-60 minutes of air.
Delicious, smooth and flavorful with a long finish. Fruit forward & a bit ripe, but deliciously so. One of the better California Rhone styled blends I have had in a while.
May 28, 2012 - Nice purple-ruby. Big, ripe, slightly alcoholic nose, this one is really extracted. Fruit is very nice, mostly cab. Relatively smooth and sleek in the mouth, but big and rich with lots of glycerine. A Californian, no doubt about it. Just a bit too much for my taste, but attractive in its way. 4-12-15-7: 88100.
May 4, 2012 - Wow. Big, chewey red. Perfect balance. Nice fruit. No excess alcohol. Smooth.
April 12, 2012 - Blind Grenache (Wave 2700): Blind #7: Easy to drink on entry. I guessed Cali. Very hot in mid-palate. Wine was ok, not great. Too much acid. I wouldn't seek it out. Out of balance.
