  April 8, 2014 - Vin rubis bien foncé avec de légère teintes violacées. Nez assez puissant de fruits noirs et rouges, de fumée, d'épices et d'herbes séchées. En bouche, le vin coule bien, c'est sur le fruit assez foncé, moyennement épicé (mais le poivre ressort pas mal), un peu de viande cuite et un peu de notes de fumée et de cèdre. Avec l'aération, le vin sur durcit un peu, mais reste savoureux.

  February 6, 2014 - Popped and poured. Initially the aroma and taste seemed like the fruit was more on the stewed side, but this was much better after a couple hours being open. Aroma was darker fruits of plum and blackberry, but the taste was a bit lighter. Still some plum in there, but had more of a raspberry taste. I think this still has a couple years at least of life yet, although I don't see it improving.

  July 30, 2013 - Best bottle of the six. Mellow tannins, drinking nicely. Easy to drink with or without food. Now time to work on the 2009's.

  May 25, 2013 - 4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Rick's & Cris'): Notes of pepper, black fruit and cherry. Medium-bodied with flavors of fruit, spice, pepper and black fruit. Nice finish. A nice match with Cris' barbeque.
