October 7, 2017 - Heady aroma of blackcurrant and forest floor. Red licorice, baking spice, cedar and blackberry on the palate. Subtle well integrated oak and earthiness on the back end. Smooth and silky all the way. As "Wine of the Moment" noted in 2015, suggesting that the wine could age many more years, I can say it aged well at least to its 10th year. Alas I have no more '07 left! Time to start on the 2008 vintage!

December 7, 2010 - Napa like blackcurrant on nose with dense cherry juice. Graphite, dry herb, black cherry pie. Slight green aspect but tannins are medium and fairly ripe. Nice structure. Long finish
