November 27, 2022 - This is a lovely aged Riesling at this point. I needed to blow off some bitterness, but turned out to be nicely balanced with good acidity, some residual sugar, honey, petrol, apples, some slight nuttiness, pineapple. Drink now, but will keep for a few more years.

February 13, 2021 - Inviting, complex nose and remarkable aromatic presence on the palate, defying the age of the bottle. Wild apple, pineapple, mango, rose, honey, nuts and a nice fresh finish. Despite a light petroleum rim this Riesling has travelled time pretty well.

October 30, 2020 - Relatively full, amplified by a slight amount of residual sugar. Dusty, stony, penetrating, austere, but not as satisfying as bottle a couple of years ago. Von Schubert usually has two bottlings of the wines; this is APN 36 10. Cellared since original release.

November 14, 2019 - Bouquet of dried apricots, some peanuts and a little petrol. The wine nicely balances acidity with creaminess. Medium bodied, it’s missing a little minerality.

December 20, 2018 - Light, pure, dry, stones, penetrating, outstanding energy. Ready to drink, but should still hold for some years.
