August 19, 2020 - Snappy acidity (like many 08s), good chambolle dark berry fruit, some structure on a finish. Earthy. Quite pleasant for level.
December 13, 2019 - Drinking great with lush fruit and a wonderful earthy undertones and spice. Wonderful freshness, and perfect at any table!
December 9, 2019 - Different experience than the tasters below. I thought this was perfumed and floral and beautiful and spoke well to chambolle. It avoided the austerity of the vintage completely. Sweet red fruit, dark cherry, earth and mushroom, cedar, and dry as a bone. Really in the zone right now. Buy again.
July 14, 2015 - Not ready -- still primary and quite tart.
November 19, 2012 - Similar to last showing. Fairly decent, dusty red fruit and nice on the palate but not quite as pure as could be on the nose. With air the fruit takes on an increasingly stewed profile, almost pruney. Could have been picked a bit earlier it seems.
May 24, 2012 - Grand Sichuan jeeb with Oswaldo (St. Marks Place Grand Sich, NY): Rather awkward, showing tightly wound red fruit and not much else with the acidity feeling rather spritzy and sharp initially. Others said it got better and smoothed out with air, but I didn't revisit.
September 15, 2011 - Quite good. A touch of oak mildly obscures Chambolle but not completely. Otherwise a bit stern as some 08's are but with great concentration and freshness and a very appealing wine if you're into minerality and focus.
