July 2, 2016 - Kleur: Diep goudgeel Aroma / bouquet: Meer ingetogen dan ik me herinner. Zwoel. Steenfruit (rijpe abrikoos). Gele appel. Honing. Smaak / Afdronk: Lage zuurgraad, romig en filmend mondgevoel, dik en sappig. Honing.

Color: Deep golden yellow Aroma / bouquet: More subdued than I remember. Sultry. Stone fruit (ripe apricot). Yellow apple. Honey Taste / Finish: Low acidity, creamy mouthfeel and filming, thick and juicy. Honey. Something heavy and tiring General / potential:. Tempting but tiring due to lack of acidity. 50+ Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Taste / Finish: 14+ General / potential: 7 = 87/1001 person found this helpful Comment -

September 1, 2015 - Blind tasting for my guests. Nice promising nose of lime, passion fruit, gasoline, thym. Mouth full of success with structure , minerality, spice and exotics. Complexity richness and served very cold at 6 degres Celsius, to hide the hot vintage in a southern Riesling terroir, indeed. Excellent 92.

August 15, 2015 - Blind tasted and guessed it since I had already tasted the same vintage 2 years ago. Cut grass, petrol and ripe passion fruit nose was a Wachau giveaway but initially I thought it might have been a cooler year or a hot vintage German Riesling. Intensely exotic palate with a slight dash of RS. Delightful as an aperitif but probably very hard to pair with food given the ripe style and lack of acidity. Serve chilled to hide the lack of acidity and drink up.

May 6, 2015 - Heavy, ripe and concentrated. Tropical fruit, elderflower and petroleum. Very rich and powerful but lacking freshness and balance. Probably passed its' peak.
