February 15, 2024 - This should be decanted for about an hour now. It took 3 hours in the glass to open up and gain the depth I recalled when tasting this at the winery. Very fruit forward with a tiny bit of polish. Overall, well made and in its prime drinking window. Fully resolved tannins. Although this isn’t my preferred style of wine, I highly enjoyed this with a dry aged 48 ounce prime porterhouse that I grilled and served rare with sweet potatoes. I don’t see this improving and best consumed within the next 2-3 years. Revisit 2025

February 11, 2024 - 15.3% abv. 100% cab. Gave it 2hrs out of the bottle. Bright and polished. Juicy jammy sweet fruit. Chewy tannins. Enjoyed before dinner and after a burger. Better after a meal.

July 16, 2023 - Received a partial bottle from my Oenophile neighbor.
15.3% abv
Had a sip. Dark red color on the pour, opaque in the glass. Lovely nose ot Blackberry & dark red fruits. Blackberry & Cassis on the palate with vanilla notes. Great, full-body, pleasant mouth feel, Nice acidity and Tannins with a 'bit-o-bite.' Great lingering finish.
