February 5, 2013 - Poggio al Tesoro Solosole Vermentino Vertical Tasting: Closed at this point. The fruit is muted and the complex bouquet has not fully emerged yet.

April 7, 2012 - The nose showed melon and ripe peach with grassy notes, minerals and herbal hints. It was silky on the palate with sweet pit fruits and spice. Sizzling acidity tantalized the senses on the lasting finish with notes of ripe pear.

May 3, 2011 - Tart, quite malic, but nicely minerally, well-made traditional style. Interesting florals and tropical fruits. Drink with light fresh food.

April 17, 2011 - Interesting mineral and herb undertones to decent fruit. OK.

March 24, 2011 - This is very mineral, almost Chablis esque. This is the property that Leonardo owns with Allegrini.

Minerality continues across the palate, with some sustain. Works at $19 or so.

Fairly light, long hang time for Vermentino.
