March 31, 2022 - Wow did this need time to decant. At least an hour before the musky ness wore off and the ripeness of its fruit really came through. Quite powerful, with lots of grit, smoke and spice. Really an excellent wine right now.

September 5, 2021 - After an hour of light descanting, it was everything you want and expect from a great rioja. Still firm but I would say near to perfect time to open it.

November 21, 2020 - The bouquet is somewhat tight with notable brett barnyard notes. Still very tight on the palate. Needed two hours of decanting to wake up. Needs a fatty dish with herbs in the sauce.
