October 23, 2023 - This is still fantastic, 8 years or so after my prior bottle. Definitely showing some age, a bit of bricking, but no oxidation or other signs of being past prime. Mature tertiary aromas of jalapeno and spices and red fruit. Long savoury finish. Excellent stuff.
November 29, 2015 - Leaves, cherries, earth, deliciousness. This is drinking so well.
March 1, 2015 - Another tasty bottle.
November 30, 2014 - Either a bad bottle or past it's prime. Was tannic and harsh, no fruit.
November 1, 2014 - Delicious, no changes from previous couple bottles.

February 5, 2013 - med ruby w/ garnet rim; med+ developing, mulled spice, vegetal, red fruits, jalapeño, green pepper, eucalyptus, raspberry, black olives, blackberry; dry, med+ acid, med+ tannin (smooth then chalky), med body/alc, med+ intensity/finish, red fruit, licorice, green pepper, sweet spice, jalapeño; very good - nice developed notes overlaying lively acid and tannins
