January 13, 2024 - An old NV bottle that was disgorged in 2018. It turns out to have aged quite well.
Rich, fruity and complex. Red fruit (cranberry, strawberry, raspberry), orange, apple and truffle. Medium+ acidity and a bit of sweetness. Pretty long finish.
Rather too rich and truffley to enjoy on its own but great with food.

June 26, 2022 - Pale Salmon in color / Med (-) intensity on the nose, Red fruit (strawberry, raspberry), light brioche. Very fine, delicate mousse.
Clean and crisp on the palate, red fruit, and a touch of blood orange. Med acidity (quite pleasant that there is no acid attack / sharpness!) Very easy to drink - Very Long lingering finish. I very much enjoyed this!
June 14, 2022 - Thank you Kristen for this lovely bottle of champagne! Julie and I made fast work of this pretty wine that had strawberries and other apple fruit, with mineral and a creamy finish.
March 13, 2022 - Lovely salmon color, tiny bubbles, with creamy effervescence . Strawberry danish on the nose. Strawberries and raspberries on the palate, with unidentifiable flowers on the finish—maybe dried rose petals. Drink up!
Added note: we saved two glasses for the next night. It developed an unpleasant funkiness. Far less enjoyable.
February 22, 2022 - During a Perrier-Jouet dinner. We drank this next to the NV blanc de blancs. The nose has lovely tangerine top note followed by some citrus elements. Not very complex but I liked the buffering tannins here providing balance to the dosage.
December 25, 2021 - What better way to kick off Xmas day with bubbles.
Need this to be super cold, to get the balance of finesse.
Very elegant, easy drinking, balanced fruit/sweetness/acidity. Very good
December 15, 2021 - Fun sparkling wine that even though is fully dry has a pretty strawberry profile. Has a pretty crazy vibrant deep pink hue. This wine I think is more of a looker than one of substance. To me this doesn’t have a lot of complexity.
November 22, 2021 - Le Tour de Champagne-Perswijn-Amsterdam-11/22-2021: nice bitters in the nose, gently dry, good balance.
