March 9, 2015 - Pleasant surprise. This is why we cellar wine. Wonderful exuberant smokey, fruity nose leads you in to a palate that does not disappoint. Unmistakable Syrah fruit on the palate with completely resolved tannins and good acidity. Drinking at peak. If you still have some, open it. Will hold for a few years, but never be better than it is now. The northern Rhone still produces the best Syrah based wines on the planet!
