May 17, 2017 - The fruit has faded slightly since last notes (2013), with heightened notes of worn leather & spice and hints of tobacco. The tannins are soft but barely noticeable, with a medium finish. Enjoyable, but may be at the end of or past its peak.

April 22, 2016 - Supple wine with well integrated fruits and a smooth silky finish. Still has ample read fruits with some notes of chocolate that make this a joy to drink.

March 5, 2016 - Deep purple. Old Barnyard, warm cedar and dark fruit nose. Dry, full bodied, high acidity, soft supple tannins, medium plus alcohol. Blackberries, boysenberries, cedar, warm vanilla, hints of chocolate. Balanced and well made. Tight but still very good. Hopefully opens up in an hour. Long finish. Recommended
