November 27, 2015 - Not varietaly typical, too thick and jammy, more like a cheap Syrah or zinfandel. Very disappointing.

October 27, 2014 - much better than 1st bottle, almost typical Pinot character (tasted more like a Syrah last time I tasted). Not great but at least acceptable and reasonably enjoyable now.

April 22, 2014 - Hunh, so having recorded all of these being consumed, I find another.
On PnP, initially tasted like a very tannic Dr. Pepper. With air it came together better, exhibiting sour black cherry, orange peel, baking spice. However, still not in balance with alcohol and tannins intruding on any pleasurable aspects.

    September 18, 2012 - meh......drinkable, but devoid of a hint of
    varietal typicity

March 25, 2012 - Technically, this wine is not flawed, just bleh. Served blind, I'd have guessed it to be New World syrah not pinot. big, spicey, dark fruits, astringent on the finish. I would use this as a party wine, but don't want to sully my reputation. 84ish

January 10, 2012 - In a comparison, I like the Chad better, but it's close. Also from Wine Access. Comparable: Turk Farrell.

December 16, 2011 - Wow. I was upset after my first bottle, but this has really come along. Nice intensity and spice. Give it Another look.
