Community Tasting Notes 12

  • Thefatbastard Likes this wine:

December 14, 2023 - Notes secondaires et tertiaires encore soutenues par de légers tannins, du fruits et une solide acidité. Un très beau vin.

2 jour plus tard. Sous bois, champignons. Un peu végétal. Grande finesse et délicieux.

    October 15, 2023 - Medium garnet colour.

Pronounced aromas of cassis, juniper, cedar, black berry, dark cherry, wet dirt, forest floor, a hint of mushroom, anise, leather, smoke.

    Medium (+) intensity palate.

Medium (+) body, high acidity, medium tannins, long finish.

  • EK001 Does not like this wine:

October 8, 2023 - Tannic and tasted like soil. Would not recommend

  • Thefatbastard Likes this wine:

August 4, 2023 - Un vin sans doute près de son apogée. Un beau fruité soutenu par des notes secondaires. On en redemande!

July 18, 2023 - This pours medium garnet in the glass with light bricking. The nose is of charred wood, pine sawdust, fresh blackberry, tar, charcoal, broth, and leather. The palate is clumsy with a nice blackberry entry but significant wood tannin really trying things out, and medium minus acid. The finish replays much of the nose. All in all I think there are nice underlying pieces to this wine, but it is sadly quite over oaked to my palate.
