October 24, 2013 - Strawberries, plums, crushed rocks, ash. Slightly grippy. Sanguine elements, almost a little savory. Makes my mouth water.

December 15, 2012 - Super funky. Bretty barnyard, with a washed-rind cheese character almost to the point of being overwhelming. After about 20 minutes or so the funk blew off enough to show lots of dense blueberry/blackberry syrup. Not bad, but not as good right now as it was a year or so ago.

October 14, 2012 - Exuberant nose of fresh crushed berries. Palate is equally expansive and juicy.

September 5, 2012 - This bottle in the middle on the funk scale. Definitely there but not enough to keep fruit-seeking nongeeks from enjoying the pretty fruit and and cut that makes it a fine food match (swordfish perhaps not ideal, but worked fine).

July 11, 2012 - This bottle with lots of funk. Within my tolerance level and enjoyed, but quite different from other bottles. Not exactly industrial wine-making.
