Capt Cutlass Does not like this wine: 80 points

December 10, 2010 - Very tight aromatically, with sharp sharp acidity. Compared to other vintages I've had there's a thin and diffuse character in the mouth. A disturbance in the gastric force, and not very pleasurable on this occasion.

August 6, 2010 - Started off with red fruits on the nose, following onto the palate where the finish showed biting acidity. After a few hours there was silky body but also ripe tannins and that bracing, juicy acidity. The nose was ok, typical of Loire reds but somewhat subdued. There seemed to be a world going on though, agonisingly veiled, just beyond the senses. It'll be very interesting to see this again in a year or two.
