September 9, 2022 - Quite a bit of color on this, but everything is sound, just the telltales of the warmer vintage. Not quite the purity on the nose I expect of Alzinger, definitely showing more of that warmth, then the palate is quite rich and round, but with good acidity and overall balance. A very tasty, delicious wine, just going with the vintage. I've been drinking 2009 wines when I find them, I think better to take take them down now rather than wait. They won't get much better, IMO.

June 5, 2014 - Oddbods Colchester Tasting Group (Back Room, Victotia Inn): Russ's Wine- I just loved this wine. The nose reminds me of fruit gums, but that's the last sweet hing to mention. Complex herby, the wine holds itself between lushness and freshness. A long finish. 18.5/20
