Community Tasting Notes 1

April 24, 2017 - 2008 past it's prime, weird wine. Super complex nose - glaring alcohol but lots of dried floral components, old spices, fermenting red fruit. Palate is overly acidic, not integrated with high alcohol. Flavors were interesting, kind of tastes like some awkward, off balance cheap Burgundies and Loire Pinot noirs. I wonder what this tasted like 3-4 years ago with all the aromatics on the nose. Drink now with sausages or pork. No score due to possible storage flaws or over aging.
