March 1, 2024 - Bern’s Steak House, Tampa. Not enough experience with aged Chablis to properly reference. However, very pure, muted aromas, very nice finish. Improved with a cheese pairing.
March 6, 2020 - La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Vertical. Walk around tasting. Much like the 2012, this comes across as nicely ripe with mineral sneaking through from the middle forward. Good weight, good now.
March 6, 2020 - The Verticals Tasting at 2020 La Paulée de New York (Eventi Hotel, New York): Magnum. Also ripe, although not as much as the 2012. Excellent silky texture, more citrus. In terrific shape, but lowish acidity and not much salinity.
August 4, 2019 - Came about after some cellaring. Full-bodied and rich but lower on acid and minerals. A pleasant surprise. Uncertain about future potential, probably best consumed within a couple of years.
April 4, 2017 - Dinner and a Great Mix of Wines at Lonny's (Lonny's Place, Mpls): Pale green color. Drank glass over 25 minutes. This was nice, with a light body, pure and steely, lots of saline and ocean character, white citrus, pure and and with good length. 91+ to 92pts.
November 10, 2012 - Round, fleshy, lacking acidity. Not memorable.
Hadde heldigvis bare denne ene flasken.....
March 23, 2012 - Drinking white Burgundies and Italians at Bluegrass (Bluegrass restaurant, Baltimore): I am not a big fan of the 09 Chblis as I prefer piercing acidity in my white Burgundies. Noticeably sweeter and fatter nose, fat and rich palate. Lemon oil perhaps.
