November 25, 2016 - What a magnificent wine. Just an excellent expression of both Willamette PN, and the generally great '08 vintage. Spicy, meaty, marvelous "tang". Very wonderful with a dinner of duck roasted with lots of garlic and rosemary.

March 19, 2014 - Popped and poured with penne & amatriciana sauce. Aroma is some red & dark cherry, with a bit of plum. Taste has the dark cherry flavor, with a bit of tartness mixed in. This is enjoyable but doesn't stand out. Perhaps it needed more time but I'm not sure what more would've come of it.

November 1, 2011 - On point and consistent Pinot. One year from the last time I tasted this beautiful Pinot Noir from Elk Cove. Made from the Roosevelt vineyard, a 3-acre, high density vineyard planted on Willakenzie soils. Deep berry. Earth tones. With spice finish. Beautiful and supple.

November 21, 2010 - Excellent example of the 2008 vintage. Big fruit, full of flavor. A hint of acid and a long smooth finish
