  September 18, 2023 - Six Singing Bottles (Our Los Olivos Home): Another case where ample cellar time has served this wine well, as did a multi-hour decant. At last the fruit has emerged, and it was well worth the wait, with bright, lifted red fruit, loads of structure and a gritty, textural finish I can't quite explain. A powerhouse of a Merlot in a Pomerol sort of way, with distinctive Bolgheri notes abounding.

  May 21, 2023 - Uncorked 6 hours before drinking, 60 minutes in decanter. What a power, beautiful fruit and floral notes with sweetness, touch of earthiness, round and long. Wow! Overwhelming wine!94/95

  September 16, 2022 - 94-95. Exquisite merlot. Velvety, rich, a lot of raspberry flavors. Excellent now but no hurry. A lot better than Fonroque 2009 drink the same evening.

  January 29, 2022 - Landed on this bottle at Pappas Steakhouse after seeing several social media post. I felt like the wine universe was trying to get my attention. I'm always look for new way to explore merlot and this label was fantastic. Very youthful at PNP. I would guess another five plus years from peaking. At PNP this was very approachable but could have used a decant, I think... Dinner with friends this bottle was split between four so it was not going to last long. I would love to spend an evening focusing on this wine as it is worthy of such focus. Mostly just an impression this go around as I'm definitely a buyer of this wine going forward.

  January 23, 2022 - Fresh and feisty. I think that I'll like this wine in 1-2 years! Still has not unwound enough to give up its fruit core completely. Complex secondary flavors in a solid structure.
