September 3, 2014 - Nice nose of minerals, chalk, and lychee. The palate is full of minerality; not overly sweet, almost dry. The acidity balances the tropical fruit nicely. Pineapple, lychee, and mango dominate. The finish is medium +, a good 10 seconds in length. Very nice, different dessert wine.

December 23, 2012 - Solid if sweet desert wine. Serve well chilled and it will be very enjoyable.

May 1, 2012 - Between a medium and light yellow with Botrytis laden honey, Meyer lemon and apricot pastry scents. Sophisticated with nothing flabby about it. For a dessert wine has a refreshing quality to it. Candied lemon, white flowers and lychee. I would call this the ideal warm weather dessert wine. Beautiful honey and pear mist finish that is perfectly balanced. Even 2% more acid would take away from this wonderful wine from Wrattonbully. Highly Recommended. After three days: nose is still strong with scents of apricot/peach pastries. Interesting sweet dough scent. Balance and finish are so smooth while refreshing and crisp. Still Highly Recommended. This bottle came from Washington DC. If they had it locally, would not hesitate to buy more. Day 4, still kicking. Wonderful!!

April 7, 2011 - Wine Enthusiast's Toast of the Town (City Hall, San Francisco): Lovely floral nose, sweet but acidity kicks in at the end. Finish is quite short. 88-89

February 18, 2011 - 2011 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Trophy Wines lunch (Darling Harbour, Sydney): Trophy – Best Sweet White {375ml, screwcap, 11%} Labelled FSW88. A remarkably pale yellow-green colour hints at the nose to come; surprisingly light and delicate nose of lightly-botrytised apricots & lychee. The palate is consistent in flavour, has a luscious sweetness (about medium-dry, as they say), with a medium cut of acid. I don’t think it’ll ever be a greatly complex wine, but it’s very nicely balanced and doesn’t sag on the palate.
