June 30, 2014 - Bottle stored in my cellar for 3 years. Opened and aired without decanting for 2 hours. This is my second bottle, had the first roughly one year ago. The wine have left the purple stage and is more purple-ruby at the moment, rather dense with only a light sediment in the bottle. Still rather undeveloped on the nose where I find dark berries and some flint. The taste corresponds to the nose in the beginning but eventually opens up. The body is medium/full a smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity and a very good balance. Present but softening tannins, mostly primary fruit with a hint of minerals, gooseberries and black-currant but at the same time an appealing softness to it. With some air it was perfectly drinkable at the present. Very tuscan in style. Not the last word in subtlety but I believe this will develop with age. A perfect wine to stock up on, open a bottle now and then without regrets for opening to soon, and watch the wine mature. I will try to find some more bottles.

May 23, 2013 - Undurchdringlich, fast schwarz. Herrlich komplexe Nase nach Sauerkirschen, floralen Noten, Pfeffer, grüne Paprika, u.a. Am Gaumen saftig, rund, erfreulich andersartig, nicht zu schwer. Sehr gut.
