February 19, 2024 - Pop n poured. Floral notes slightly sweet dark fruit and remaining tannins not obtrusive. Opened up some after an hour. No reason to hold as fruit likely to fade

January 21, 2024 - PnP at restaurant…waited 30min to start drinking and consumed over next 90 min with no fall off so probably no urgency yet to finish off your stock…

August 7, 2023 - At Hawksmoor Liverpool. Pale and quite orange. A little reticent to start but later a super perfume but quite a tannic palate. Better with food but this remains a light but enjoyable wine but perhaps lacks stuffing?

December 27, 2022 - Wonderful barbaresco. Rose and floral and still plenty of tannin but works well with the structure of the wine. No need to rush but can pop one now.

August 23, 2022 - Opened 4hrs prior to dinner & settled on slow-ox in 2 Riedel Burgs & cork out. I loved the pristine fruit & basically everything about this wine tonight. Semi translucent bright red w/ ambering edges. Rose petal & spice on nose. Palate is weightlessly energetic & elegant w/ captivating Rainer cherry, wild berry, light menthol, licorice, mineral and emerging forest floor. Has Nebbi's structural masculinity but also a Chambolle like lacey femininity. Dam, I wish I had more of these! I drank my other 2, too young. I'd run right out & buy a more recent release but this producer's wine need significant cellar time. Even this '07 this could easily go another 10+ yrs. Really excellent right now w/ plenty of air. Becoming very Giacosa like. 14.5% alc went unnoticed. Served & drank in the high 50s/low 60s. 94-95
