October 2, 2016 - Rather bright golden yellow on the eye, with an austere minerality on the nose. The palate is aged white. Time has mellowed and rounded its sharp edges leaving pears and limestone.

May 7, 2014 - Drink up. Starting to head down hill.

May 13, 2013 - Nice acidity and minerality. Tastes of green apple and citrus. Good finish. Drank with a mushroom stroganoff. Will see how it tastes tomorrow with more air.

April 6, 2012 - Moderate yellow-gold in color, 13.9% ABV. This wine was popped and poured (or unscrewed and poured) and enjoyed with sushi. on those, there're notes of slightly oxidized pears, with a lemon/lime nuance, and a hint of chalky minerality. On the palate, the wine is not as tight and acidic as I would prefer for a Vermentino; it has flavors that echo from the palate, of tart green apples, pears, and lemon. There is a slight flabbiness that comes across in the medium-length finish, making the wine just slightly flabby for what it could and should be. It pairs nicely with seafood/sushi today, but I believe it should be drunk sooner rather than later, as it will not improve from this point, and has likely already reached its prime.
