September 16, 2023 - This was tight! Even after decanting, it was savory, austere and just wouldn't open up. There is some citrus on the nose and saliness on the palate but it just refuse to show much else. I think this may need even more time, or air? The decanter we used wasn't "too big"

August 23, 2023 - Beautifully balanced, clean crisp acidity. Showing few signs of age at 30yrs old.

April 30, 2022 - Blinded a few people on this. Nobody got even the grape right, much less the vintage. Drinking much younger than it's age. Golden apple, honeysuckle, high acidity. Good stuff.

February 6, 2019 - A Good Tuesday, Vol II: Have had a lot of aged Raffault, but never a Chenin. This was served blind, and out of left field, and our first guesses were all over the place. I somehow got to Chenin Blanc after all of whiffs. Started with a big nose of citrus, pineapple, tropical fruit. Very edgy. Acidity is lively. Doesn't necessarily taste 26 years old. Turns waxy and becomes more obviously Chenin with air. An interesting ride.

June 18, 2018 - Less funk, as much acid, a little more fruit, dry and very saline finish.
Enjoyable but not a beginner's wine. Especially at 25 years old.
