    September 7, 2013 - Old & Rare CA Cabs: Sweet caramelly nuances, remnants of fruit, no tannins at first, but some coarse grip in the finish; wild berry notes with sort of zingy freshness. This turned to raisiny flavors rather quickly. Nice, bottle--far better than the first one I tasted.

    July 19, 2013 - This was darker than the '83 Lapelletrie and '86 Ormes de Pez with a muddy dark black brick color; plummy, macerated cherry nose, some wet tobacco, well integrated but a touch sweet oak/ripe old red fruits still present (burried in the stewed fruit); sour cherry, high acid in the mouth. Great condition, excelllent fill, interesting, but tough sour finish.

    January 2, 2010 - Dark red. Definetly brings the funks. Some mature cabernet notes when the funk blows off. Decent to drink, lots of acid left but no tannins. Interesting.
