December 21, 2020 - This wine was a bit past its prime. It took quite a while to open up and wasn't too bad -- but definitely needs to be consumed now if you still have a bottle.
May 11, 2019 - Light red, mild bricking. Nose showing cocoa nibs, red cherry, raspberry, hints of earth, cedar notes, umami hints. Palate well balanced, tannins present but integrated, nice refreshing acid, minerals on finish, fruit strong still, with some secondary notes developing. Long finish. A bargain.

May 21, 2016 - Tart, taut, earthy and alive. Concentrated red cherry, raspberry. Good intensity and finish. Very well priced at $25.
March 31, 2015 - Clear medium cherry. Raspberry nose. Savory, brambly, primarily red fruit. Nice tannins with a bit of grip, but not too tannic, drinking well. Slight let down at the finish. Good QPR.
January 16, 2015 - There had been a lot of leakage from the cork on this bottle and the cap was swollen with wine. It did not taste musty in any way but was just not as fresh as I recall earlier examples
