August 6, 2010 - Interesting Aragon wine (Cinco Villas/Zinco Billas-region, 70 kilometers northerly of Saragossa), designed to offer early drinking appeal. The Uncastellum winery is managed according to strict rules of organic farming. Composition: 60 percent Tempranillo, 40 percent Grenache ; no oak-maturation (stainless steel tanks). Nice cherry-red colored wine with a fruity and youthful nose of sour cherries, gooseberries and fresh herbs. Medium-bodied palate with a good intensity of red fruit, a harmonious structure and a juicy mouth feel. Reasonable aftertaste. A well made, agreeable summer wine, best enjoyed when young and fresh. Good QPR.
Interessante Aragon-wijn (Cinco Villas/Zinco Billas-streek, 70 kilometers ten noorden van Saragossa), een wijn om jong gedronken te worden. Het domein Uncastellum wordt biodynamisch gevoerd. Samenstelling: 60 percent Tempranillo, 40 percent Grenache ; geen rijping op eik, enkel op roestvrij staal. Mooie kersrode kleur, en een fruitige, jeugdige neus van zure kers, stekelbes en verse kruiden. Middelkrachtige smaak met een goede intensiteit van rood fruit, een harmonieuze structuur en een sappige mondvulling. Redelijke afdronk. Een degelijke, aangename zomerwijn, best jong en fris te drinken. Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.
