August 29, 2016 - Nothing remarkable positive or negative. Aged well resulting in a smooth, mellow wine.

November 8, 2014 - Decanted for two hours. One of the better wines we've had for some time. Full body, blackberry, cocoa and leather with a smooth finish. Enjoyed with pork, mushroom risotto and parmesan truffle brussel sprouts.

June 9, 2012 - Not super complex but tasty - double decanted for about 2 hours before drinking, nice fruit notes game out, a little hot though.

May 23, 2010 - Red currant and red cherry and baking spices. A creamy entry with red currant and anise leading to asian spices. Medium depth with the bright acidity carrying the wine to the back where the finish is of bitter chocolate.

December 14, 2009 - Black/red color. Closed nose but with a little air, crushed berry notes with sage and cocoa nibs. Rather young in the mouth yet. Tannins are still accented by the acid that drives to the back of the mouth. Green peppercorn give way to espresso bean and nut skin on the finish. Still needs time.

November 13, 2009 - Hot on the nose with oak and minimal fruit. What fruit was noticeable was dark and semi-sweet, dark chocolate and distinct tobacco. Deep purple color with good body and legs, actually strong body and legs. Medium tannins with long lingering tannic and acidic finish but not over the top. After breathing it opened with some sweet fruit and more tannins and some acidity. In all not bad but not my favorite profile.
