January 16, 2013 - Peppery shallow finish. Fruit light with overshadowing spice.
October 5, 2012 - Light, fairly innocuous pinot noir.
February 18, 2012 - Cheri likes it
January 2, 2012 - Good QPR. Medium weight cherries, earth.
September 2, 2011 - Smells of stone and madeleine cookies. Some rhubarb. Tastes of red fruit - mostly sour plum, seltzer water, dandelion greens, pomelo. Some oak. Leaves an awkward weight on the back of the tongue while being a bit too bright as well.
August 14, 2011 - Light, strong berry middle (cherry), silky finish
July 18, 2011 - Evergreen stem on the nose which carries through to the palate. Sharp, bitter finish. Works at $12, better at $10.

April 22, 2011 - A winemaker with excellence in his background at Quintessa and Dry Creek Vineyards, this is pure pinot at its best value. It showboated at the 9th annual Pinot Noir Shootout in San Francisco which is the top Pinot Noir competition in the world receiving a GOLD MEDAL and a 90 score. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a value that combines a rustic, burgundian style with aromas of violets and strawberries, dried herbs, and flashes of cocoa. Once you get that impression rolling, time to taste and the complexity of fruit, acidity, and tannin is remarkable at this level. Wild strawberries and fresh earth coat the palate and it finishes surprisingly a good 30-45 seconds later.
