April 21, 2008 - Was adding inventory to CellarTracker and found this bottle, the synthetic cork doomed it. Although well past its prime drinking window, this wine still had something to show in the bouquet, I am guessing it was the original fruit, slightly oxidized. The palate was hard to swallow. As an adventurer, I dove in anyway, I could pick up some standard chardonnay elements of apple, but that's about it, as the oxidation took over. Educational experience.

May 14, 2007 - Time to drinkup, the wine has clearly lost some complexity and depth of flavor on the palate.

February 25, 2007 - Very clear color in the glass. I have to agree with tairanosaurus's note. This wine is too thick and cali-chardonnay like for me. I prefer SBs that are a bit more light and refreshing. Still, a very well made wine.. just not in the style that I like. The peach flavor was also a tad too fruity for what I was looking for.

    February 17, 2007 - WIML90,NOWA,WS94

Tasted February 17, 2007 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. Light yellow color in the glass. Nose of lychee, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Flavors of lime, orange, pear and peach. Light acidity, light body. Drink now.
