December 11, 2021 - Q4 2021 Wine Club: The Return with Aged Rhone (Our apt): Wine #4: More fruit here, red current, raspberry. Honestly this wine on reveal really surprised me. I would have taken it more for the south (thought it was potentially the Bonneau). Very bright. Went back to it and it had evolved some in the bottle but drinking differently than I expected. (2 pennies)

December 9, 2020 - Decanted two hours. Gorgeous nose of roast-pork drippings. On the palate, silky and viscous with granulated milk chocolate, black cherry, Asian spices, umami, blood orange. Very long finish.

November 26, 2020 - Amazing. Smooth, Burgundian, creamy, extremely elegant. World class. On day two showing a more stony side, more rustiqe with black olives and hanged meat.

September 30, 2020 - Beautiful wine. It's still much too young and needs quite a bit more time, but it's very refined and elegant and yet there is an undercurrant of power there. Lots of dried leaves and black fruits and just the faintest hint of the bacon fat. Drinking nicely but I'd wait many more years to pull.
