  October 9, 2013 - Deep, dark purple color. Medium-full body. Nose and palate both are greeted by a plethora of black berry fruit with charcoal and dust in the background. Elegant, structured, and well-balanced, this is a superb wine for an under $20 price point. Very nice for an Argentine malbec.

  June 14, 2011 - This is one of those Argentina Malbec's that trade up front fruit forward flavors, for some structure. This one needs to age. At 3 years since crush, this one is still a baby. Probably in it's "dumb stage" this one is a little closed on the nose, and the palate. Hiding behind that almost black color are all kinds of fruit and non fruit flavors. There is acid and tannin just waiting to age out. Got some pretty big oak which may at this point be masking some flavors. Kind of a leather, and tannin and blueberry finish. Very different from the typical grocery store Malbec.

  February 28, 2011 - Simple nose, not a very complex pallate. Not that great of a Malbec. Perhaps the weakest Malbec I have ever had.
