February 10, 2022 - Burgundy night: A classic expression of a Bordeaux blend. Opaque colour, lots of dark cherries. Was thinking Bordeaux second wine with its blandness and tannins being smoothed to oblivion.

Decant from bottle 60 mins
Nice purple garnet color with light orange rim. Opens up beautifully without much decanting needed. Profound nose of oak, leathery, burst of wild fruits, raspberries, cherries, strawberry, nuauce of forest floor, earthy. Palate is savory and smooth, light mineral, herbaceous, medium to full body. Tannins has subsided with good amount of acidity to support her rich character. Finished is of medium length, lasting 40 secs or more. This wine is at her peak, continue to enjoy for next 4-5 years. 91 pts
July 23, 2021 - Well we went to our local Italian BYOB with a bottle of 2010 BDM which turned out to be really nasty. I have learned to always take a back up so I had brought this. The nose was all fruit leading to a palate of blackberry, cassis and tobacco. The finish was moderate to long.
May 22, 2021 - Good solid wine. Can drink on its own. Enjoyed but cannot recall the tasting notes.
April 30, 2020 - Nose: some raisins and blackberry. Very light
Taste: raisins, light oak, some tobacco.
A fun lighter wine.
February 14, 2020 - CT suggests drink by 2018 but this bottle seemed to be right in the drinking window and had plenty of legs beyond that. Deep and dark colour in the glass after a two hour decant. Lovely smooth Bordeaux style wine with bags of silky smooth fruit. Delicious at this age. Last one - must find another good vintage..
September 10, 2019 - Très bon second vin (Sassicaia) resté jeune mais avec une belle évolution. Long en bouche et bien équilibré.
